Volunteer Central: Serve on the Summer Team at NCC!
Northpointe needs over 100 additional volunteers over the summer months to help keep our nursery, kids' areas, cafe, and welcome center functioning. This summer you can choose to serve on either Sunday mornings or Sunday nights. To take advantage of this awesome opportunity to hang with some pretty cool people, email
volunteer@northpointecc.org, or sign up at www.northpointecc.org and click "Serve Somewhere."

Participating in a co-ed Softball league is a great way to connect with others from Northpointe and their friends and family. Games are on Sundays beginning in mid-June in St. Johns and consist of 12-player teams (five women minimum). Games are hourly from 4:00-7:00 p.m. This co-ed league is for adults (18+) and the cost is $20 per person. Register and sign the waiver form at the Events Kiosk before May 19th.

Starting Pointe Membership Class: Our next class will be held on Saturday, June 1st from 9:00 a.m.-noon. During this seminar, Starting Pointe will help you understand the vision, mission, core values, and strategy for ministry at Northpointe. Continental breakfast will be provided. Sign up at the Events Kiosk or check the box on the registration form in the Welcome Book. If you have any questions or for further information, contact the church office at (517) 669-5133 or info@northpointecc.org.

Summer Service Shift. Don’t miss out this summer! Beginning June 9th we will be moving our Saturday evening service to Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. for the summer months. This move will offer an alternative to those that may be traveling. Please make plans to join us on Sunday evenings as you return from your weekend away.

Get in a Group
Young Adult Group. If you desire to grow in your faith along with the support and friendship of other young adults, we invite you to attend our Young Adult Group every 1st and 3rd Sunday evening from 7:00-9:00 p.m. here at Northpointe. Our summer study, led by Nicole Bradford, starts June 2nd with the book by John Eldredge, Waking the Dead: The Glory of a Heart Fully Alive. Register at the Events Kiosk. Materials cost approximately $10.

Students & Children
Summer brings changes on our calendars and in our kids’ programs. Beginning June 9th we will offer nursery through pre-school at the 9:00 a.m. service, all children and student programming at 10:45 a.m. and nursery through 1st grade at the 6:00 p.m. service. Thanks for planning around these changes!

Parent/Child Dedication will take place on Sunday, June 16th (Fathers' Day). Parents can publicly present their children to God and make a commitment to bring their children up in a Christ-centered home. It is a parent's act of dedication, making a spiritual commitment to God concerning the upbringing of their child. This commitment involves a lifestyle of praying for the child, teaching from God's Word, and setting a Christ-like example for the child. Register online at www.northpointekids.org.

Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” That’s the offer of Christianity, from God himself. Just look at what happens when people are touched by Jesus—the blind see, the lame walk, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life. In other words, to be touched by God is to be restored...to become all God meant you to be. That is what Christianity is supposed to do for you—make you whole, set you free, bring you fully alive. But Jesus also warned that the path to that life is narrow, and few people would find it. You’ll notice few have. Waking the Dead will help you find that life, see the fierce battle over your heart, and embrace all that God has for you. There is so much more. Do you want it? If you desire to grow in your faith along with the support and friendship of other young adults, we invite you to attend our Young Adult Group every 1st and 3rd Sunday evening from 7:00-9:00 p.m. here at Northpointe. Our summer study, led by Nicole Bradford, starts June 2nd with the book by John Eldredge, Waking the Dead: The Glory of a Heart Fully Alive. Register at the Events Desk. Materials cost approximately $10.
