PRAY: Will you commit to 5 minutes of prayer each day for the people of Haiti and those who work with them? Here are some ways to pray:

1. Pray for those still in need of rescue
2. Pray for the rescuers, volunteers, and relief agencies – strength, rest, encouragement, and safety
3. Pray for recovery of those injured in the earthquake – physical and emotional
4. Pray for the families and friends of those who have died, been injured or are still missing
5. Pray for the governments and other authorities that "red tape" and corruption would disappear and that they would have wisdom and integrity as they help the people
6. Pray that many would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior as a result of the earthquakes
7. Pray for us at Northpointe that God would continue to give us wisdom to know how to be the "hands and feet" of Jesus for the people of Haiti

GIVE: Is God calling you to give financially above and beyond what you are already giving to Northpointe? There are two ways to do that:

1. For the next two Sunday worship services, you can designate on the Offering Envelope (or on your personal check if you are not using the envelopes) "Haiti" and we will send the money to Extreme Response, a non-profit humanitarian ministry we are working with

GO: Is God calling you to go help the people of Haiti? Right now, the only individuals encouraged to go down are those with medical training and experience. Here are two things to consider:

1. If you are a doctor or a nurse, please contact us via email at info@northpointecc.org or phone at 517-669-5133. We can put you into contact with an organization that can help you get to Haiti to help.
2. It is too early to determine at this point, but we have partnerships with a number of Christian humanitarian aid organizations, who would love to have teams go down at a later date. We are praying about the possibility of taking teams down at some time in the future (if God should open up the door).
