Celebrate Recovery

Thursday evenings
7:00-9:00 PM

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ centered program that gives people the resources and relationships to help recover from life's hurts, habits, and hang-ups. This is a program for anyone struggling with past or current dysfunctions or compulsions, whether they are affecting their own life or the lives of those around them. The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the Eight Recovery Principles found in the Beatitudes and Christ-Centered Twelve Steps. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power, Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.  If you want freedom from life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits we encourage you to check out Celebrate Recovery on Thursday nights here at Northpointe Community Church. This ministry seeks to celebrate God’s healing and redemptive power in our lives through the “8 Recovery Principles” Celebrate Recovery is based on.  We invite you to use this opportunity to experience change, allow God’s grace to help you solve life’s problems, and allow him to release you from your addictive, compulsive, or dysfunctional behaviors that have been holding you back from authentic joy in your life.

Celebrate Recovery meets every Thursday!  You do not need to be a regular attender of Northpointe Community Church to attend Celebrate Recovery, and Childcare is provided!

7:00-8:00 p.m. - Large Group Session.  Everyone meets together for a time of worship then a teaching, testimony or special guest speaker in the auditorium.   There is no pre-registration or sign-ups. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by a greeter and handed a bulletin to help you become acclimated.

8:00-9:00 p.m. - Open Share Groups. This is the time to break into recovery specific groups. Meet others with similar hurts, hang-ups and habits. These groups are gender specific.

8:00-9:00 p.m. - CR 101.   This is a one-time meeting for visitors or those new to recover where you will learn more about Celebrate Recovery, hear personal mini-testimonies and ask direct questions.  After the Large Group session we invite you to attend this meeting before joining an Open Share Group.
